Our company is based on the belief that interior design can be simple and beautiful - practical and fun! By mixing new, fresh accessories and renewing existing furnishings, we repurpose and stay in budget.
Basic Design, LLC was established in 2012 as a small local design company. The company expanded it's in-house Upholstery & Valance Workroom, servicing the South Strand areas.
Pick-up / Delivery and Installation services are available with workroom orders. We are always happy to help with estimates and yardage requirements,

Outdoor Cushions
Living spaces encompass every venue, outdoor as much as indoor. We offer custom upholstery services to restore and recover the outdoor furnishings and cushions you have come to appreciate so much for quiet tranquility and fun family gatherings.
Free estimates are available with a picture and measurements. All hand crafted in-house with great craftsmanship and care.
Furniture Upholstery
Our upholstery workroom transforms, and updates loved furniture pieces. Renewing existing furnishings and creating brighter spaces for residential and commercial settings. All hand crafted in-house with great craftsmanship and care. Local Pick-up and Delivery service available for South Strand areas.
Window Valances & Drapery
A variety of window treatments, including valances and drapery, are offered to our clients. Delivery and Installation are available with workroom orders. Alternate options available for the DIY lovers accommodates COM fabric, measurements and pictures, then install yourself. This workroom is truly tailored to the needs of individuals and homes.

Marine Upholstery
Boat cushions are upholstered in a durable, anti-bacterial vinyl. Our workroom keeps several colors in-stock and has over twenty custom colors available for order. Each boat is quoted individually and may require an in-person verification of measurements before final quotes are given. Marine orders are booked in February and September only.

The Pop-Up Shop... The Holiday Collection
Holiday Design Season... September - January
Holiday Venues and Pop-Up Shops will be announced here. Holiday Design remnant pieces of garland, wreaths, tree fillers are also found here. We are consistently updating holiday venues and will release festive designs that are being replaced during the off season.
